Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior VFX Supervisor to lead the VFX team in Durban, guiding projects from concept to final delivery with artistic integrity and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in visual effects supervision or a senior VFX production role.
• Proven experience leading large-scale VFX projects for film or high-end television.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire VFX pipeline, including pre-production, on-set supervision, and post-production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all visual effects shots for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with directors and clients to develop the visual style and technical approach for VFX sequences.
• Manage and mentor the VFX team, providing creative direction and ensuring high-quality output.
• Supervise on-set VFX work, liaising with the production crew and ensuring seamless integration of digital elements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions throughout the pipeline.
• Manage budgets and schedules for VFX sequences, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
