You will design particle effects, simulations, shaders, and optimized assets, staying current with industry tools. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio and thrives in a collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a VFX Artist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in VFX creation software and game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Strong understanding of particle systems, physics simulations, and shader development.
• Experience working effectively in a hybrid setting, collaborating with team members both remotely and in the office.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to iterate quickly on visual effects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize visually impressive visual effects (VFX) using industry-standard tools and engines.
• Collaborate with art directors and technical teams to define the look and feel of VFX elements according to project specs.
• Create particle effects, simulations, shaders, and other dynamic visual elements for games or other digital media.
• Ensure VFX assets are performant and optimized for target platforms, balancing visual fidelity with technical constraints.
• Stay current with emerging VFX technologies and techniques, and contribute to the development of new tools and workflows.
