Placements24 is seeking a Senior VFX Artist to join a fully remote, globally distributed team with a local anchor near Vereeniging. You will design and implement stunning real-time visual effects, collaborate with designers and programmers, and help push the visual boundaries of interactive media.

The role requires strong expertise in particle systems, shaders, and real-time rendering, plus a proven portfolio and excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in VFX Art for games or film.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of stunning visual effects.
• Proficiency with VFX creation tools such as Houdini, Unity's VFX Graph, or Unreal Engine Niagara.
• Expertise in shader development and particle system design.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effective remote collaboration.
