Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in urban planning, urban design, or architectural roles with a focus on urban development.
• Demonstrated experience in master planning, land use analysis, and development control.
• Proficiency in GIS software, CAD (AutoCAD, Revit), and urban planning visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of urban development policies, planning legislation, and environmental impact assessment processes in South Africa.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in public consultation.
• Proven ability to manage complex planning projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• A strong portfolio showcasing successful urban planning and design projects.
• Professional registration with SACAP or a relevant planning institute is preferred.
