This pivotal role involves shaping the future of urban environments through creative and sustainable design strategies. You will lead the design and planning of large-scale urban regeneration projects, public spaces, and master plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of architects, landscape architects, and planners. The position requires a deep understanding of urban dynamics, social equity, environmental resilience, and the ability to translate complex challenges into cohesive and inspiring urban frameworks that enhance community life.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of urban design strategies, master plans, and development frameworks for complex sites.
• Create high-quality design documentation, including concept plans, 3D visualizations, and policy guidelines.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and public participation processes to inform design development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and sustainable design outcomes.
• Conduct research on urban trends, best practices, and relevant planning legislation in Gauteng .
• Provide expert advice on urban design matters to clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

Requirements
