Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic, remote-first team based in Midrand. You will be instrumental in translating complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning interfaces. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to execution, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems , style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and meet project objectives.
• Advocate for the user by translating user feedback and analytics into actionable design improvements.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design thinking and best practice sharing within the remote team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design , with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and information architecture.
• Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
