Placements24 is hiring a Senior Treasury Analyst for their Kimberley, Northern Cape operations. The role focuses on liquidity management, cash forecasting, and risk hedging within a large diversified corporation.

You will work to optimize cash flow, oversee banking relationships, and support debt and investment strategies. Ideal candidates have a finance or economics background, at least four years in treasury, and strong Excel/TMS skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or financial analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and treasury management systems (TMS).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and payment processing.
• Monitor and optimize the company's cash flow and liquidity levels.
• Assist in the management of banking relationships and negotiate terms and fees.
• Support the analysis and execution of debt financing and investment strategies.
• Identify and assess financial risks, such as interest rate and foreign exchange risk, and recommend hedging strategies.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures.
• Prepare regular treasury reports for management, including cash forecasts and risk analyses.
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of treasury systems and technologies.
