Qualifications

• Transformer design and specifications aligned with standards.
• Installation and commissioning reporting and readiness checks.
• Maintenance plans incl. preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Condition monitoring and oil analysis (DGA).
• Root-cause analysis and corrective actions for faults.
• Performance optimization and load balancing strategies.
• Adherence to safety standards and risk assessments.
• Project management incl. timelines, budgets, procurement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.
• Asset lifecycle plans for transformer refurbishment or upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify transformer components and ratings.
• Verify installation, commissioning, and readiness for operation.
• Plan and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Prepare condition monitoring and health assessment reports.
• Investigate faults and implement corrective actions.
• Recommend efficiency improvements and loss reduction.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Oversee transformer projects and contractor work.
• Mentor junior engineers and review designs.
• Plan refurbishment and upgrades for assets.
