Job summary

Samaha Consulting is seeking an experienced Solution Architect/Consultant to oversee functional solution design for client engagements in banking software. You will act as a bridge between project teams and clients, ensuring the delivery of value and adherence to TRANSACT standards.

You will travel extensively, contribute to sales-driven design proposals, and mentor teams on best practices across retail, corporate, payments and treasury domains.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software/banking consulting, with at least 10 years implementing Transact.
• Retail and Corporate business knowledge (Lending/Deposits) at granular level.
• Accounting & Reporting knowledge.
• High level knowledge of Payments.
• High level knowledge of Treasury.
• Experience writing functional software specifications.
• Experience configuring Transact modules such as AA, TPH, Teller, Limit, Collateral.
• Proven track record designing and delivering projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions.
• Strong analytical, organized, process-driven, detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Arabic or French speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Triage Manager to ensure optimal reuse and incorporation of functional gaps within the product development team.
• Provide a single point of contact for business stakeholders including clients, partners and the Temenos project team through the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrate TRANSACT best practices based on various Temenos product implementations.
• Establish and communicate the overall functional solution design and how it is managed and delivered for value.
• Challenge bespoke requirements and steer clients toward TRANSACT Standard Model Bank functionality to reduce local customizations.
• Exhibit strong consulting skills and industry knowledge across domains.
• Ensure viable solution designs are proposed during sales and that continuity is maintained into delivery.
