Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Thermal Engineer to lead thermal management for complex electronic and mechanical systems. This role supports a remote-first product development team spanning multiple time zones and involves designing, simulating, and validating thermal solutions.

You will work independently within a distributed team, focusing on CFD/FEA analyses, heat transfer principles, and innovative cooling strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with specialization in thermodynamics or heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and analyze thermal performance of electronic and mechanical systems using CFD and FEA tools.
• Develop and implement innovative thermal management strategies, including heat sinks, fans, heat pipes, and liquid cooling solutions.
• Specify thermal materials, components, and testing requirements.
• Conduct rigorous thermal testing and validation, analyzing results to optimize designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal solutions into product designs.
