Job summary

iX seeks a Senior Test Analyst to ensure quality of software products through manual and automated testing. You will analyse requirements and user stories, design and execute test cases, develop automation scripts, and improve automation coverage.

The role includes technical guidance and mentoring within Agile teams to achieve quality outcomes within timelines. The position is hybrid, requiring a reliable internet connection and twice-weekly attendance at the Westville office.

Qualifications

Experience in a senior testing role guiding testers.
Automation development and maintaining automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

Analyse user stories to design, document and execute manual and automated test cases.
Estimate testing effort and coordinate testing activities to meet delivery timelines.
Maintain an organised test case management framework and traceability.
Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks; expand automation coverage.
Perform functional, regression and other testing; log defects and verify fixes.
Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Communicate testing progress, risks and outcomes to stakeholders at different levels.
