Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Project Manager in Mossel Bay, Western Cape to lead complex telecommunications deployments from planning to handover. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality targets in a senior leadership capacity.

The role requires extensive telecom project experience, strong stakeholder management, and certification in PMP or Prince2 is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7–10 years in project management with 5+ years in telecoms.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of telecom technologies and deployment methods.
• Experience with PMP or Prince2 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Plan detailed project schedules, budgets, and risks.
• Lead engineers, technicians, contractors across projects.
• Oversee network builds, upgrades, deployments.
• Monitor progress and enforce quality and regulatory compliance.
• Report status and manage vendor relationships.
