Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Network Engineer to join our distributed team and contribute to strategic development of the network infrastructure. This fully remote role covers South Africa and beyond, focusing on designing, implementing, and optimizing high‑performance networks.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in telecoms networking, strong routing (BGP/OSPF), MPLS, firewall management, and hands‑on experience with Python and Ansible for automation.

Qualifications

• Strong routing/switching, security, and incident handling skills.
• CCIE or equivalent certification is highly valued.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of IP networking, MPLS, and wireless technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
