Placements24 seeks a Senior Telecommunications Solutions Architect in Benoni, Gauteng to design and lead end-to-end telecom solutions for enterprise clients. You will drive architectural decisions, craft detailed designs, and guide delivery across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring deep expertise in fixed-line, mobile, and converged networks, with a strong track record of delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
• 10+ years in telecommunications, with at least 5 years in Solutions Architecture
• Proven ability to design complex B2B telecom solutions and lead technical discussions

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive telecom solutions for enterprise customers (network, voice, data, cloud)
• Lead technical discussions to understand business objectives
• Develop high-level and detailed technical designs and architecture diagrams
• Evaluate technologies, platforms, and vendors for proposals
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
• Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering and PM teams for delivery
• Stay updated on tech trends to drive innovation
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to design teams
• Conduct reviews and assessments of client environments
