Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical deployment projects in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will manage resources, stakeholders and risks to deliver network build-outs and upgrades, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards while driving project success and continuous improvement in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years in project management with telecom infrastructure focus.
• PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of telecom projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resources and budgets.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams including field technicians and engineers.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues with clear strategies.
• Communicate status and challenges to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage vendor contracts and ensure performance aligns with requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards and policies.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.
