Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee large-scale network deployment initiatives in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role requires driving projects from initiation to closure, delivering on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and mitigate risks in a hybrid work setting that blends office collaboration with remote work.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in project management within telecommunications.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale network infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of telecommunications infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Manage project change control processes.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and productive project environment.
