Job summary

Share is building the marketplace for bandwidth, and we seek a Senior Systems Engineer to own the core infrastructure. You will manage production Linux, virtualization, and security perimeters in a carrier-grade environment, aligning with cloud-first principles.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in systems engineering within telco/ISP settings, deep Linux expertise, strong virtualization skills, and hands-on networking and security capabilities, plus hyperscaler exposure and Kubernetes

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience in telco/ISP-like environments.
• Deep production Linux administration with hands-on maintenance at scale.
• Real virtualization depth (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) across the VM layer and above.
• Genuine security ownership: perimeter security, firewalls, segmentation, VPNs.
• Solid networking fundamentals: routing, switching, DNS, load balancing.
• Working knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Kubernetes exposure and AI-native tooling experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure foundation: production Linux, virtualization, and security perimeter.
• Maintain and harden systems to operate at carrier-grade scale.
• Collaborate with network and cloud teams to support a cloud-first stack.
• Operate cross-cloud resources (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Kubernetes workloads.
• Demonstrate AI-native workflow integration and ownership from design to production.
