Job summary

EnableSA in Port Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead logistics, warehousing and export operations for local and international markets.

You will coordinate with Sales, Demand Planning, Production and Finance to align forecasts and stock, manage 3PLs and freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with OHSA, customs and Incoterms.

Candidates should have 5–8 years’ experience in FMCG or agriculture SCM, and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, SCM, transport management, or related field.
• 5–8 years’ experience in SCM in Agriculture/FMCG.
• Export logistics experience including cross-border shipments and international trade.
• Experience managing warehouses, transport operations and 3PLs.
• Strong knowledge of SA transport, customs and export regulations.
• Experience with high-volume FMCG distribution models.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage logistics and distribution across local and export markets.
• Oversee warehousing, transportation and distribution to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage 3PLs, transporters, clearing agents and freight forwarders.
• Monitor logistics costs, fleet utilisation and route planning.
• Manage export logistics processes including documentation, Incoterms and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with SA export regulations and destination country rules.
• Coordinate with clearing agents and freight forwarders for sea, air and road freight.
• Manage export lead times, container planning and cross-border distribution (SADC and international).
• Work with Sales, Demand Planning, Production and Finance to align forecasts and stock.
• Ensure OHSA and road transport regulations and company safety standards.
• Implement and monitor SOPs for warehousing, distribution and export processes.
• Manage risk, insurance claims, loss prevention and damage control.
