Placements24 is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst for our Randburg, Gauteng operations. The role focuses on data-driven optimization of the supply chain, reducing costs, and improving inventory management.

You will work with procurement, logistics and inventory teams to drive efficiency and visibility across the retail/SaaS segments. The position requires strong analytics, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis, modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle ERP and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management and S&OP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics and KPIs.
• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
• Improve logistics and transportation planning to reduce lead times and shipping expenses.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain.
• Develop demand forecasts and assist in sales and operations planning (S&OP).
• Evaluate and recommend new supply chain technologies and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations and best practices.
