Job summary

MSP Staffing (PTY) LTD in Cape Town is seeking a professionally registered Civil/Structural engineer to lead structural design from concept to detailed design. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines and provide technical leadership across project teams.

The ideal candidate has Pr.Eng. (ECSA), more than 10 years of relevant experience, and strong proficiency in Revit and Prokon. Masters degree is advantageous and experience with reinforcement detailing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires B.Sc./B.Eng in Civil with Structural specialization and Pr.Eng. registration.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience; minimum 4 years after registration.
• Revit and Prokon proficiency is essential; reinforcement detailing experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design from concept to detailed design.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to satisfy project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project teams.
• Review engineering work for accuracy, quality and compliance.
• Mentor and guide junior and intermediate engineers.
• Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency and outcomes.
