Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of proven experience designing large commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of complex commercial buildings, including high-rise structures, office blocks, and retail centers. Perform advanced structural analysis using state-of-the-art software to ensure code compliance and optimal performance.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and design reports for tender and construction purposes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for structural engineering aspects.
• Collaborate closely with architects, M&E consultants, and construction teams to achieve seamless project execution.
• Review contractor submittments, conduct site inspections, and provide solutions to construction challenges.
• Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer.
• Over 10 years of proven experience in the structural design of large commercial buildings.
• Expert proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System).
• In-depth knowledge of steel, concrete, and composite structures, and relevant design codes.
