Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer for a Polokwane-based role within a respected architectural and engineering firm. You will lead structural design for diverse building projects, ensuring safety, stability and compliance from concept through completion.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage project timelines and budgets, and collaborate with architects and clients to deliver modern, sustainable structures in Limpopo.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr Eng is a prerequisite.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in the structural design of buildings.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000 or Revit Structure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of building projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Develop structural models and perform calculations for loads, stresses and deformations.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications and reports for construction documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, clients and consultants to achieve optimal design solutions.
