Job summary

V3 Consulting seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and project delivery across built environment projects for public and private clients. You will manage client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring programmes, specifications, quality and budgets are met while contributing to team leadership and business development.

The role involves mentoring staff, overseeing documentation quality and project administration, plus construction monitoring and contract management as required.

Qualifications

• BSc or BTech Civil Engineering degree or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech. is required.
• 5+ years post-registration experience in built environment projects.

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead structural design and project delivery across a range of built environment projects for public and private sector clients. The role involves managing client and senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring projects meet programme, design specifications, quality, and budget requirements, while contributing to team leadership, business development, and the growth of the V3 brand and culture.

• Internal and external stakeholder engagement and management

Minimum Qualifications

Professional Registration(s)

• Registration with NHBRC beneficial
• Registration with GBCSA beneficial

Years of Relevant Experience

• 5+ years post-professional registration experience

Preferred Project Experience

• Built environment, particularly building-related projects

Technical Skills / Software Required

• AutoCAD
• Prokon
• AEC packages, Revit, or BIM experience beneficial
• Experience with JBCC and NEC suites of contracts beneficial
