Job summary

Zecutive Consultants in the Western Cape seeks a skilled Structural Engineer to independently manage multiple projects, lead design teams, and liaise with clients to ensure successful delivery. You will prepare technical reports, perform structural analyses, and deliver optimized concrete and steel solutions.

Applicants should have 3–5+ years in structural engineering, with Prokon, Revit and AutoCAD experience, and hold a Civil Engineering degree with ECSA registration or near registration.

• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng) or near-registrant.

• Experience with concrete, steel and multi-storey commercial structures.
• Prokon and finite element analysis proficiency.
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD knowledge.
• Strong PM, time management, leadership and client relationship skills.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple projects.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

• Utilise Prokon, Revit, AutoCAD and other relevant software to deliver engineering solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and load-bearing structures.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to their technical development.
• Conduct site inspections and attend project and client meetings as required.
• Travel to project sites and client locations when necessary.

Requirements

• BEng/BSc Civil Engineering
• ECSA Professional Registration (Pr. Eng), or Candidate close to professional registration
• Minimum 3-5+ years' structural engineering experience
• Experience with concrete, steel, and multi-storey commercial structures
• Sound proficiency in Prokon and finite element analysis software
• Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong project management, time management, leadership, and client relationship skills - excellent communication skills and a Team Player
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle

Remuneration

Market related salary is negotiable monthly between R40,000 to R95,000 pm (depending on qualifications, ECSA registration status and experience).
