Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in stock control, logistics or related fields, with strong leadership and bilingual English-Afrikaans communication. A Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in FMCG stock control, logistics or cold storage.
• Tertiary qualification in finance, logistics or supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall stock movements.
• Monitor stock levels and implement variance-minimising strategies.
• Supervise and guide the Stock Control Team.
• Identify and minimise aged or slow-moving stock with applicable actions.
• Manage stock-takes and reporting/analysis of stock movement.
• Drive continuous improvement in stock management processes.
• Ensure compliance with stock and quality control policies.
• Maintain accurate stock records for on-time delivery.
• Enforce safety and documentation standards.
• Lead cycle counts, monthly stock-takes, and annual stock counts.
• Generate stock performance reports for senior management.
• Collaborate to ensure accurate invoicing and stock reporting.
