Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer to work remotely with a global pharmaceutical client. You will take ownership of programming tasks, oversee CROs, and deliver SDTM/ADaM data packages with regulatory-ready quality.

We require 7+ years in biotech/pharma programming, strong SAS, and CDISC guidance. Flexible, independent, and capable of leading teams and communicating effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or statistics preferred.
• 7+ years of experience as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma Clinical Development Biometrics.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and experience in clinical development environments.
• Extensive experience with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, Define.xml) and regulatory submissions.
• Experience interacting with FDA and global regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams with strong communication and leadership.
• Nice-to-have: experience with pharmacokinetic data and neuroscience; knowledge of Python, Java, Shiny, Unix/Linux and Git.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM and ADaM specs, datasets, reviewer’s guides and define.xml for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to generate datasets, listings, tables, and complex graphs.
• Deliver high-quality programming results with SAS and/or R.
• Oversee CRO deliverables for multiple studies to meet timelines.
• Assist in study reports, regulatory submissions, publications and DSURs.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/ICH regulations for reporting clinical trial data.
• Contribute to standards for programming tools, outputs and macros.
• Develop CRFs, edit checks and data validation plans.
