• Postgraduate qualification or extensive experience in Special Needs Education.
• Minimum of 6 years experience working with learners with diverse special needs.
• Proficiency in developing IEPs and utilizing assistive technologies.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, with a strong commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for learners with special needs.
• Deliver tailored instruction and support using specialized teaching methodologies and resources.
• Assess learner progress regularly and modify instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, therapists, and external agencies to create a cohesive support network.
• Advocate for the needs of learners and promote an inclusive and understanding school culture in Queenstown.
