The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience and mastery of DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton) plus spatial audio (Dolby Atmos, Ambisonics). You will collaborate with designers, developers, and artists to push sound boundaries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional sound design with a strong portfolio in interactive media or immersive installations.
• Expertise in DAWs and audio middleware (Wwise/FMOD) required.
• Solid understanding of acoustics and psychoacoustics and audio signal processing.
• Experience with spatial audio technologies (Dolby Atmos/Ambisonics).
• Proficiency in recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
• Creative problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
• Degree in Audio Eng, Music Tech, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, record, edit, and mix high-quality audio assets for immersive experiences.
• Develop creative sound concepts and sonic palettes to support narrative and interaction.
• Implement sound effects, ambient soundscapes, Foley, and adaptive audio systems.
• Collaborate with game developers, UX designers, and content creators to integrate audio.
• Operate and maintain DAWs and audio middleware; optimize for platforms/environments.
• Stay updated on spatial audio trends and technologies (VR/AR).
• Manage audio assets and project files; conduct sound testing and QA.
• Contribute innovative ideas and technical solutions to the workflow.
