Job summary

enablesa seeks an experienced Solutions Engineering Executive to join their Port Elizabeth team, leading the development and optimisation of supply chain solutions across inventory, warehousing, production logistics, transportation, distribution and fulfilment.

Translate requirements into practical supply chain strategies and engineering designs, provide direction on network configuration and material flow, and oversee operation layouts and systems.

Qualifications

• Ten years of relevant experience in supply chain engineering or similar environments.
• Five years of senior management experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience in RFQ, operating model design, costing and implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimisation of supply chain solutions across inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Translate requirements into engineering designs and operating concepts.
• Provide direction on network configuration, replenishment, material flow and distribution models.
• Oversee process design, capacity, staffing, equipment, and supporting systems.
• Ensure feasible, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions with clear documentation.
• Support business development with technical leadership in discovery sessions and proposals.
• Own engineering assumptions and cost components underpinning solution cost models.

Education

Four-year degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

Postgraduate qualification in Management or Supply Chain (advantage)
