Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Project Manager with expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics to join our Port Elizabeth operations. You will lead initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, implement new logistics solutions, and ensure the smooth flow of goods.

The role involves managing projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance, collaborating with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams, and delivering measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within supply chain or logistics environments.
• Proven experience in managing projects related to warehouse operations, transportation, or inventory optimization.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant supply chain software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects focused on enhancing supply chain efficiency, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget management.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, warehousing, distribution) and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement process improvements and technology solutions within the supply chain.
• Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
