Placements24 in Stellenbosch seeks a Senior Solidity Developer to design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts for diverse blockchain applications. You will work on cutting-edge DeFi and crypto projects, contributing to high-quality code and scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with product teams and other developers to implement features, perform security-conscious reviews, and stay ahead of evolving blockchain security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development, with at least 2 years in Solidity and smart contracts.
• Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Experience with DeFi protocols and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Truffle, Hardhat, or Ganache.
• Strong grasp of security principles and common vulnerabilities in smart contracts.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient Solidity code for smart contracts on Ethereum.
• Develop and deploy decentralized applications (dApps) using smart contracts as backend logic.
• Test, debug, and optimize smart contracts for security and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to build new features.
