Placements24 in Durban is seeking a talented Smart Contract Developer to join our innovative blockchain team. You will design, test, and deploy secure smart contracts and collaborate with front-end developers to build robust dApps.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on Solidity experience, deep knowledge of EVM, and familiarity with frameworks like Hardhat or Foundry. A CS/Math degree is preferred, and you will work on-site in Durban.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience in developing smart contracts.
Strong understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and blockchain fundamentals.
Experience with smart contract frameworks (Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry).
Familiarity with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721) and DeFi protocols.

Responsibilities

Write, test, and deploy secure and gas-efficient smart contracts on Ethereum and other networks.
Develop decentralized applications (dApps) and integrate contracts with front-end interfaces.
Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of smart contracts.
Optimize deployment processes and contract performance.
