Job summary

The Rank Group plc is seeking a passionate Mobile Software Engineer to build world-class Flutter apps. You will collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver exceptional experiences across platforms.

You’ll own features from concept through deployment, write clean code, and contribute to ongoing improvements in an agile environment. Ideal candidates bring proven Flutter/Dart experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven Flutter mobile app development experience.
• Strong Dart proficiency and cross‑platform deployment to iOS & Android.
• Experience with Bloc/Cubit for state management.
• RESTful API integration and modern web tech.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver great user experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build, maintain, and enhance high-quality mobile applications using Flutter.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver outstanding user experiences.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that meets the highest engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to innovative solutions.
• Take ownership of features from concept to deployment, ensuring quality delivery and continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and mobile development best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience developing mobile applications using Flutter.
• Strong proficiency in Dart and Flutter.
• Experience building and deploying applications for both iOS and Android.
• Solid understanding of state management patterns, including Bloc/Cubit.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with modern web technologies.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
