impact.com, a leading SaaS scale-up, seeks a senior software engineer to own large, complex problems and drive architectural evolution from legacy monoliths to modular, event-driven systems. You will collaborate across product, sales and operations to shape scalable, pragmatic solutions and mentor engineers to raise the team’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, distributed computing and large system design.
• Strong grasp of domain-driven design (strategic & tactical).
• Experience with hexagonal/ports-and-adapters architecture.
• Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming.
• Commitment to clean, readable code and test-driven development.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and agile development.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of large, complex problems and design simple, elegant solutions.
• Collaborate with product management, sales, and operations to understand business needs and deliver technology to meet them.
• Shape architectural journey from legacy monolith to modular monolith and event-driven systems.
• Champion domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, TDD, and clean code principles.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to raise team capability.
• Continuously improve processes and embrace new ideas to raise the bar.
