Job summary

impact.com is seeking a software engineer to help replace a legacy monolith with a modular monolith and, where sensible, individual services. You’ll apply domain‑driven design, hexagonal architecture, and test‑driven development in a collaborative, high‑growth environment.

You’ll work with Java/Spring backend, MySQL persistence, and Vue.js frontend, contributing to architecture, code quality, and scalable solutions while growing your skills and ownership within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design concepts.
• Experience with hexagonal architecture and ports‑and‑adapters.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented and functional programming.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solving large, complex problems by building simple, elegant solutions.
• Collaborate closely with teammates and stakeholders across product, sales, and operations.
• Be an active part of our architectural journey: from legacy monolith to modular monolith and event‑driven systems.
• Apply and grow knowledge of domain‑driven design, hexagonal architecture, test‑driven development, and clean code.
