Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java to design and develop new SOA-based applications. You will contribute to an in-house messaging tool, enabling robust messaging and alert features for the mobile app.

Candidates should have strong Java, Spring, and API design skills, plus experience in banking systems. Ideal candidates will have experience with RESTful services, Git, and modern agile practices, and be comfortable working within governance standards

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven experience in software development, project delivery and implementation.
• Strong background in Java-based enterprise ecosystems and modern SDLC practices.
• Experience with API design, testing, and governance in banking environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of new service oriented applications (SOA) per specifications.
• Develop and maintain a bespoke app messaging tool for messages and alerts on the app.
