Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack Java) in Johannesburg to design, develop and deliver enterprise-grade applications for banking clients.

You will apply OO development methodologies, work with Java, Spring Framework and front-end tech, and contribute to system architecture, analysis and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of proven software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and web tech (ASP.Net/JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• Experience with Java and OO development methodologies.
• Understanding banking systems and QA practices.

Experience

Experience in the following development languages:

• Minimum of 6-8 years (with qualification) proven experience in software development
  • SQL (any platform: T-SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc)
  • ASP.Net / Java Script / HTML / CSS
  • Java

  • OO Development Methodologies

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Software Development

Knowledge

• Banking systems

• UML
