Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Cloud Infrastructure to join its distributed engineering team. This fully remote role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure cloud-based systems powering global operations.

You will work with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, monitor performance, and optimize costs while collaborating with developers and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Responsibilities
