Placements24 is seeking a Remote Principal Cloud Engineer to lead design, implementation, and operation of our cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on defining cloud strategy, best practices, performance, security, and cost-efficiency across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will mentor cloud engineering teams, develop IaC, and drive automated deployment and monitoring pipelines in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in systems engineering and cloud infrastructure, with 5+ years on cloud technologies.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and IaC tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and network security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
