Placements24 is seeking a Social Impact Strategist to lead remote projects for an international development charity. You will shape theories of change, design M&E systems, and translate data into actionable strategies that maximize positive outcomes across diverse communities.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in a related field, 7+ years in impact evaluation, strong data visualization and reporting skills, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in International Development, Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, or a related field with a focus on impact evaluation.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing social impact strategies and M&E frameworks, preferably in non-profit or international development.
• Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
• Experience in developing and managing project budgets.
• Understanding of global development challenges and SDGs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the organization's social impact framework, including theories of change and logic models.
• Design and implement robust M&E systems to track project outcomes and impact.
• Conduct baseline, midline, and endline evaluations for various development programs.
• Analyze social impact data and generate insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify KPIs and success metrics for all initiatives.
• Provide strategic guidance to program teams on impact-driven approaches.
• Research best practices and emerging trends in social impact assessment and international development.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on social impact measurement for staff and partners.
• Contribute to proposal development by articulating the anticipated social impact of new projects.
• Advise on how to maximize positive social outcomes and mitigate potential negative effects.
