Takealot Group in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Site Merchandiser to lead merchandising strategy and on-site product placement across the platform. You will partner with Retail, Marketplace, Discovery and Marketing to shape navigation, optimize assets and drive conversions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in merchandising, content strategy or marketing in a high-performance environment.
• E-commerce experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with Retail, Marketplace, Discovery Team and Marketing to direct on-site traffic to feature categories and product ranges.
• Improve navigation integrity on site and app through checks and benchmarking.
• Measure and improve performance of merchandising assets and CMS tools with an analytic framework.
• Benchmark customer journeys against international best practice and trends.
• Collaborate with product and commercial teams to recommend UI/UX improvements.
• Launch new themes and merchandising assets including seasonal landing pages and anchor promotions.
