Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Engineer for projects in Sandton, Gauteng. You will oversee technical on-site execution, ensuring adherence to design specs, quality, and safety standards while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, ECSA registration preferred, and at least seven years of site-based structural project delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• ECSA Pr.Eng or Pr. Tech Eng registration desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of site engineering experience on structural projects.
• Proven experience managing complex structural construction projects.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods and materials.
• Strong quality, safety and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the engineering and technical aspects of construction projects on site.
• Ensure construction activities meet design specifications, drawings and quality standards.
• Implement and manage site quality control procedures.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical issues and challenges.

This position demands a strong technical background in structural engineering and extensive site-based project execution experience. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of construction, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on site. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to managing site challenges, and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineering staff. Key Responsibilities
