This hands-on role is critical for ensuring that construction projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for supervising daily site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, managing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with engineering principles and building regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate the work of various subcontractors and trades to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
• Implement and enforce strict quality control and safety procedures on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure work is performed according to design.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and provide guidance to the construction team.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery, equipment deployment, and temporary works.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Manage site documentation, including RFI logs, site instructions, and daily diaries.
• Troubleshoot on-site challenges and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Assist in the handover process for completed projects, ensuring all documentation is in order.

Requirements

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in site engineering and construction supervision, preferably within the residential sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites.
