Placements24 is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst with a SIEM focus to join our Soweto-based client. You will design, implement and optimize SIEM monitoring, develop correlation rules, and drive incident response across complex IT environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in information security, hands-on Splunk/QRadar/ArcSight experience, and strong skills in log analysis, threat hunting and forensics.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Cybersecurity.
• Minimum 5 years in information security with SIEM focus.
• Hands-on with Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight or similar SIEM platforms.
• Experience in log analysis, incident response, threat hunting and forensics.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, tune and maintain SIEM solutions for detection.
• Develop correlation rules, alerts, dashboards and reports.
• Monitor real-time security events and analyze logs from diverse sources.
• Investigate incidents, perform forensic analysis and coordinate response.
• Document SOPs for incident response, threat hunting, and SIEM mgmt.
• Collaborate with IT ops, network engineering and development teams.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Stay updated on threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
