Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Senior SHEQ Analyst to drive compliance and risk management across Durban North operations. The role focuses on root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and proactive safety culture to sustain environmental and safety standards.

You will monitor regulatory requirements, support system improvements, and engage stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and documentation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• SHEQ-related tertiary qualification is required.
• SAMTRAC certification is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a SHEQ environment.
• Proven experience conducting incident and accident investigations.
• Strong understanding of Environmental Acts and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

• Monitor compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory requirements

• Ensure accurate SHEQ reporting, documentation, and record management

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant SHEQ-related tertiary qualification
• SAMTRAC certification
• HIRA experience
• 3 to 5 years' experience within a SHEQ environment
• Proven experience conducting incident and accident investigations
• Strong understanding of Environmental Acts, Regulations, and their practical application
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and its impact on organisational risk management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Google Workspace applications
• Experience working with cloud-based and SaaS platforms such as DocuSign, Lucidchart, and similar systems
• Waste management industry experience will be advantageous
