Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Security Architect to design capably secure architectures for complex systems and to guide security decisions across cross‑functional teams.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor in pre‑sales, analyse client requirements, and shape secure solutions with a strong focus on IAM, cloud security and data protection. The role embraces hybrid working and requires TOGAF and ISO/NIST/PCI knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in security domains including network security, application security, cloud security and data protection.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF); familiarity with standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI dSS).
• Experience with security technologies and tools and ability to advise on security posture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design complex security architectures with cross‑functional teams to meet current and future needs.
• Act as trusted advisor, providing pre‑sales support and analysing client requirements.
• Guide secure coding, network security, IAM, and data protection practices.
• Evaluate security technologies and frameworks to stay cutting‑edge.
• Lead incident response activities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Draft technical design documents and define project scopes, pricing and RFP/RFI responses.
• Manage client POC initiatives and own delivered solutions.
• Prepare executive summaries and align deliverables with capabilities.
• Support final client presentations ensuring proposals meet client needs.

Your day at NTT DATA

• Designing complex security architectures tailored to meet both current and future needs while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams such as developers, engineers, and project managers to embed security considerations throughout the system design and development lifecycle.
• Proactively work as a trusted technical advisor, offering pre‑sales support and analysing client requirements to enhance their existing security capabilities.
• Guiding secure coding practices, network security, identity and access management, and DATA protection.
• Select and evaluate security technologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure our solutions remain cutting‑edge and effective.
• Lead incident response activities and ensure policies, standards, and procedures comply with industry regulations and best practices.
• Drive the drafting of technical design documents that align with solution specifications and contribute significantly to our pre‑sale’s efforts, including determining project scopes, product pricing, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Manage client proof‑of‑concept (POC) initiatives and own proposed solutions through to delivery.
• Evaluate opportunities for alignment with NTT DATA's capabilities, prepare executive summaries, develop solution designs, and document necessary deliverables.
• Be instrumental during final presentations to clients, ensuring all proposals are accurate and align with their needs.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• Proficiency in security domains including network security, application security, cloud security, DATA protection, identity and access management, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
• Thorough knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) for designing secure, scalable systems.
• Understanding of security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI dSS).
• Experience with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and secure coding analysis tools.
• Exceptional understanding of the vendor's products, business, and technology positioning.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills for assessing risks and proposing effective security solutions.
• Advanced client engagement and technical consulting skills with the ability to deliver on business targets.
• Extensive project management experience and familiarity with methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related fields; certifications in Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are essential.
