Job summary
Watershed Consulting is seeking a skilled Security Installation Technician to lead the deployment of alarms, CCTV, and access control at client sites in Nelspruit. You will install, configure, and maintain wired and wireless security systems while ensuring compliance with contractual and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on installation experience, mandatory certifications in Alarm and CCTV installation, and PSIRA registration is highly advantageous.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in security system installation and maintenance.
- Mandatory certifications in both Alarm and CCTV installation.
- Current PSIRA registration and SAIDSA certification are highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- System Installation: Deploy and commission wired and wireless alarm systems, CCTV networks, and access control solutions (biometric, card, and keypad).
- Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical faults on all supported security products.
- Compliance: Ensure every installation strictly aligns with contractual, regulatory, and industry safety standards.
- Administration & Logistics: Manage vehicle stock control, track installation materials, and accurately complete digital or physical job cards with client sign-offs.
