Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking a hands-on security technician to install, configure and test alarm and CCTV systems. You will service and maintain existing systems, diagnose faults and carry out repairs while performing routine inspections and testing.

The role requires explaining system operation to customers and delivering professional, customer-focused service. You will maintain tools and follow safety standards, with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and servicing alarm systems.
• Practical experience with CCTV installation and monitoring systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• PSIRA registration, Grade C preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Preferably residing in Hout Bay or surrounding area.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.

Requirements

PSIRA registration is required; Grade C is preferred . Valid drivers licence. Own reliable vehicle. Must preferably reside in Hout Bay or the surrounding area. Able to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard. Reliable, professional and customer-focused. Good communication and report-writing skills.
