Placements24 is seeking a Senior Security Systems Installation Technician to join our team in Benoni, Gauteng. You will lead installation projects for CCTV, IP cameras, access control readers, alarms, and intercoms across commercial and residential sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
• Proven expertise with CCTV/IP camera systems, access control, and alarm systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Relevant technical certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret security system designs, blueprints, and schematics to plan and execute installations effectively.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in security systems, including hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on installed security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on technical procedures and best practices.
• Conduct client training on the use and basic maintenance of installed security systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, service calls, and system configurations.
