Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in a SOC or similar monitoring role.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) and security event analysis.
• Experience with network security monitoring tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux security implications.
• Experience with EDR solutions and endpoint security principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Paarl, Western Cape; shift work if required.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC are a plus.
